This is the second of Sri Sampath Kumar's insightful and creative

postings on the wonderful gathering that is taking place this month in

Lord Narayana to Periapirattiar : Let us move around the

bhagavathas

and also hear what they talk , saying ,the Lord and Pirattiar go near

three Srivaishnavites discussing seriously

 

Srivaishanvite 1.Adiyen Ramanuja Dasan.We are blessed today and only

Tridandi Sriramanuja Jeer Swamy could gather all thease scholors on to

the

stage.

Srivaishanavite 2.Andal Nachiars Thirupavai has all the essence of

Vedas

and Andal could deliver the message so straight and simple.

Srivaishnavite3.Did you hear the scholors giving us the essence

rather

spoon feeding us and the atmosphere is so heavenly and I will not be

surprised if the Lord himself is present to witness this.

S.2.H.H.Jeer Swami has been spreading the message of Emperumanar

tirlessly

and did you hear the forceful speach of Thirukoshtiur Madavan

reapeatedly

mentioning H.H.Jeer Swami is the punaravatharam Of Swami Ramanuja and

swami

Manavala Maamuni.He was so moved by the efforts H.H.Jeer Swami and

pleaded

with him to lead all the Srivaishnavites in Temple renovation work and

in

spreading the message of Sri Ramanuja Muni.

S1.I have a doubt,can I ask you.H.H.Jeer Swami has been travelling

abroad

and blessed are the people who have been listening to him.Why is it

there

are some restrictions in H.H.Jeer Swamis and other Srivaishnavite

scholors

and temple preiests travelling abroad?

Adiyen:Why get into these issues.According to me there can not be any

restrictions in spreading of Emperumanr Darsanam.Yes,whatever

anushtanams

one should observe they are expected to observe .If these facilities are

 

available there should not be any restricitions in reaching out to

people.

S3.All of us agree.

Adiyen;A painful incident and I cannot keep it with me and I would like

to

share with you all.The Brahaspathi swamin who visits us is a very

broad

minded person and belongs to other Kalai.Last few months he is busy

and

has been sending to our house another swamin.This Swamin ,an elderly

learned

person has been doing Kainkaryam to Devapperumal at Kanchi.He had gone

to

States and was the chief for Samprokshana of newly constructed

temple.On

his return he could not perform the Kainkaryam to Devaperumal as few of

the

local Srivaishnavites have advised not to attempt doing so has he

travelled

crossing the seas.This Swami with all his humility felt only sad and

not

anger.He said I had gone only for Perumal Kainkaryam and I could perform

all

my anushtanams when I was in States.

I asked him a simple question.IF EMPERUMANR WAS LIVING AMONG US TODAY

WOULD HE TRAVELLED CROSSING THE SEAS.

I asked the same question three months back when I was in the company of

 

three leading Upanyasakas of Chennai.I got a mixed reaction.I was very

firm

in my answer .The same answer I told my Srivaishnavite friends at

Kuchalambal Kalyanamandapam.YES,YES,YES,EMPERUMANAR WOULD HAVE

SACRIFICED

EVERY THING ,IF IT WAS TO SPREAD HIS MESSAGE.

 

Lord to Pirattiar: Did you hear these arguments.Do you agree.

 

Pirattiar:Swamin.Dont try to assess me.LOrd You had taken Archa

Avatharam .Why did You do so.Every time on innumerable ocassions you

have

come down and has reached to these Manidars.You know Sriapathi ,You

have

been extending Your benevolent hand to pull them up.I still remember

Lord in

Your Rama Avathar, You reached to a bird,an animal,a monkey,person of

low

caste,a rakshas.Lord I dodnt have an answer why Srivaishanvites behave

like

this

 

Lord to Pirattiar;;Devi,I will explain when the time comes .Let us hear

what the sholors say On Andals Thirupavai.
