Srimathe Ramanujaya Namaha!

Sri Jeeyar Thiruvadigale Saranam!

Dyuthima:n ->

Va:lmiki while mentioning the qualities,

asked Narada “Who is the ‘dyuthima:n”?

meaning ‘Who has radiance?’

One has to possess natural radiance. One

has to be attractive at once. In his presence

the 'thamas,’ nature has to vanish. ‘Dyuthi’

means light. Where there is light there won’t

be darkness. It should be present in one’s

appearance and nature. When such a person is

seen , a feeling of liking (preethi) should

come out automatically and the violent nature

should diminish.

Tha:ra, Va:li’s wife, came to SriRama with

anger and emotion to accuse him for killing

her husband But as she looked at him,

“sa:ntham sama:sa:dya visuddha saththva:”,

‘the ‘tha:mas’ nature in her diminished and

the ‘sathvam’ in her rose up.

The lady who came to accuse SriRamachandra

forgot her initial intensions and started

showering praise. This capability in a person

is not achievable with just the exterior glow.

The sa:thwik nature should shine from one’s

within. This enables to perceive ‘jna:na’ and

leads to a clear analysis and imparts a

favourable attitude towards all. There won’t be

any averse feeling towards any. They will be

able to influence others with their stength.

That was the reason why the cattle, the birds,

the wild animals, the illiterate, the rishis, the

ra:kshasas and even the va:naras felt extremely

happy in SriRamachandra’s divine presence.

(Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeayar Swamiji always says

when we love all beings the love we receive back

is so many times multiplied !!)

Bhagavan who is para has original radiance that

is natural to Him and this glows like His natural

‘jna:na’. Hence Bhagavan is called,

‘the:jasswaru:pa’. He is the One who is providing

the light to the Sun and the Moon to illuminate

the world. He possesses the ‘jna:na ru:pa the:jas’

and also the ‘a:nanda’ and He is the ‘para:thpara’

who awards these to all the ‘jeevas’. This is the

reason for calling Bhagavan as ‘Paramjyo:thihi

Swaru:pa’.
