This mail is NOT related to the discussions on this list. Recently, INS has

changed rules to limit visitor's visa to stay in US for 30 days. There is a

30 days period now during which we can represent our views on this new

policy. We can sign our protest in the electronic forum. If more people sign

this, it is better.

This is really important!!! So please take a moment and sign this petition .

 

Folks, Pls express your opinion on the new rule proposed by INS to limit

tourist stays to 30 days. There is a 30-day public opinion review

period by the INS and we must make our voices heard loud and clear on this

matter to prevent INS from taking this drastic step. You may get more

details of the proposed measures in newspapers and newslinks. Pls also

forward this to as many 'affected' people as you know. The proposals are

open for public opinions for 30 days before INS starts enforcing them.

Please use the link below to express your opinion. INS has proposed a 30

days visitor visa,cutting short the exisiting law of max 6 months. This

would affect all of our life as we have most of our parents / family coming

over here frequently. Moreover, INS is accepting comments for 30 days from
