(Books will be provided by Univ. Of Madras.) English Language Exemption: With the application, we will need to send, one original and 2 attested copies of the Bachelors degree, with transcripts showing that English has already been taken at Bachelors level. The origianals will be returned back. The deadline for all the materials to reach Univ. Eligibility: Those who have passed 10 + 2 or P.U.C are eligible to join the course. The course is available in both in English and Tamil medium and hence the students can choose either English medium or Tamil medium. The fees is around Rs.1500 per annum. Apart from this there will be no exams or assignments or projects in the middle. Supplementary exams will be held during the month of October or November. Hence it will be enough if the students could come to India once in a year. Even if it is not possible, they could write the first year papers at the end of second year along with second year papers or all the 15 papers together at the end of third year. Those who already hold a Bachelor Degree in India will be exempted from writing the English and Language papers. Study materials for one full year together will be given at the time of paying the annual fees. Applications can be had by paying Rs.100/- Filled in applications should reach the University of Madras before 30-9-2002. Even though students can take up this course from anywhere, It is suggested that those who are desirous of joining the course may give their local (Indian) addresses. As Univ. PS: You have to Visit India (Madras) to take to the Annual Exam in May/June.
