Guest guest
bhUta bhavya bhavath prabhuhu (star – Ashwini) The one who is the Lord (swAmi) of everyone/everything at all times (bhUta, bhaviShya & vartamAna kAlams). pASuram : perumAL Tirumozhi – 2-6 ( KulaSEkharALwAr TiruvadigaLE SaraNam ) [ Before continuing with this post, a message from my father in the context of Sri KulaSEKharALwAr’s pASuram. “This work of BhOgyAmrutam started with blessings of Sri Ramanuja (“in amutan uttukkEn inkEvA painkiLiyE”). Here Sri Ramanuja had called upon Sri KulaSEkharALwAr to enjoy this divine nectar. So, Sri Ramanuja was considered to be the convener and Sri KulaSEkharALwar as the chair person who used to invite each Alwar to present His pASuram. Thus, this work was carried out by Sri Ramanuja and Sri KulaSEkharALwAr. And we proceed praying to their SrI pAdams, to give us an oppurtunity to enjoy the anubhavams of all our AlwArs.” EmberumAnAr divya TiruvadigaLE SaraNam KulaSEKharALwAr divya TiruvadigaLE SaraNam ] Samanvayam with pASuram : You are the Lord of those who exist. This tag of real existence can be given only to those who are eternally in communion with you. In the past (bhUta kAlam), they were your divyAbharaNams & divyAyudhams. Currently, they are decorating all these worlds as our AchAryAs & AlwArs. In the future (bhaviShya kAlam), they will be again shining as your divine ornaments and matchless weapons. In this way, you have become their Lord at all times. Thus you get the name bhUta bhavya bhavath prabhuhu. Others who do not realize their svarUpam are equal to non-existing. Through our AchAryAs & AlwArs, you give us our svarUpa jnAnam and thus make us the dAsAs (servants) of your great devotees. Thus you are the Lord of all bhUtams at all times. pASuram : Ati antam anantam | arputamAna vAnavartam pirAn The source (beginning), the end, the infinite, the amazing one and the controller of all the nitya sUrIs. pAtamAmalar sUDum - To decorate the unparalled SrI pAdams (of such Lord). patti ilAta pAvikaL uyandiDa - To uplift & elevate the sinners who lack such Bhakti (to decorate those divine feet). tItil nannerikAtti – (The one) who shows the spotless & sublime path. yengum tirindu arangam yemmAnukkE – (To that) Lord who is on the move everywhere & who resides in SriRangam. kAtal sey toNDArku – To those who lovingly serve Him. yeppirappilum kAtal seyyum yennejnamE – My mind is extremely eager to serve them lovingly for any number of lives to come. Detailed Meaning : Source : He is the kAraNam behind the incarnations of all our AchAryAs and AlwArs. In the past, all of them were glowing along with Him as His divyAbharaNams and divyAyudhams. Then, He was the only source for their sustainance and Anandam, through His inseperable association with them. Even now, when they have descended to this earth as our AlwArs & AchAryAs, He remains their only source and Lord. Thus He was their Lord in the past and is their Lord in the present. The destroyer : In the future (i.e., after praLayam), all our AchAryAs & AlwArs will continue to glow with Him as His divine ornaments and weapons. They decorate His divya mangaLa vigraham with extreme pAratantryam (as per His wishes) and love. Thus, He continues to be their Lord in the bhaviShya kAlam (future) also. The one who is the infinite and the astonishing : As He cannot bear the seperation from our AchAryAs & AlwArs, He comes and takes the archA forms at their places and the divya dEShams. This aspect of He having both the paratvam and Soulabhyam simultaneously is a most amazing rarity. Through His extreme Soulabhyam as the archA mUrti, He has won their hearts and has become their Lord in the vartamAna kAlam too. The controller of nitya SurIs : Not only does He Lord over and enliven the bhAgavatAs who have descended to this earth, but simultaneously He presides over and entertains the nitya SurIs in the paramapadam also. O such Lord, You show the spotless & sublime path : You show the peerless path for the upliftment of those who do not have the Bhakti & thus are not fit to decorate your unparalled SrI pAdams. What made you create and maintain all these worlds?. What for have you sent all our AchAryAs & AlwArs?. What is it that is being achieved through all this effort in this vartamAna kAlam?. All of this is mainly aimed at our upliftment by guiding us through the divine pathways leading to your SrI pAdams. We do not have Bhakti to decorate your SrI pAdams. To fill that void in our hearts, our AlwArs have graced us with the 4000 divya prabandha pASurams. Our AchAryAs are reinforcing them by providing us with their divine and esoteric meanings. And You (Lord SriRanga nAtha) are protecting all of them as their Lord. Thus people like me are the reason behind You becoming the bhavath prabhu. Really we are great and fortunate. My mind is eager to serve for any number of lives, the bhAgavatAs who are devoted to that Lord : My mind is extremely eager to serve all the bhAgavatAs who are devoted to that Lord at Sri Rangam That Lord has created this great wish in me and transformed me. This is His most remarkable achievement as bhUta bhavya bhavath prabhu. He has kindled this lamp (this feeling) of eternal servitude to His devotees in my mind and heart. Everyone/being in all these worlds belongs wholly & solely to that supreme Lord. We have been graced with our bodies only to serve all of them. Thus, there is no feeling which is higher than this feeling of being a faithful servant of all those who serve that Lord SriRanganAtha. Is there a means better than this for my upliftment?. That Lord (Sri RanganAtha) is the Lord for all, at all times (bhUta bhavya bhavath prabhu) and I am the servant of all who serve Him as their Lord with utmost love. All this play of vartamAna kAlam (being carried out by Him) is only to make us realize this (our svarUpa jnAnam).
