SrI:

Dear BhakthAs:

It gives me great pleasure to share with you our firm plans for

SampradhAyic Veda ParAyana and Dhivya Prabhandha PaarAyNa ghOshtis

at SrI RanganAtha Temple during the occasion of the Second

anniversary Celebrations of the SamprOkshaNam for the Temple.

As many of You know , these PaarAyaNams are an essential part of

major celebrations at consecrated Temples and it is delightful

that SrI RanganAtha Temple has blessed us to maintain this tradition

and is pleased to hear dearly What He dearly wishes to hear .

On behalf of the Religious Committee of SrI RanganAtha Temple, it is

adiyEn's pleasure to invite you all to come and join one or both of

these groups led by PoorNa AdhikAris in Vedam & Dhivya prabhandhjams.

Kaavanoor MaadabhUshi VyaakaraNa SirOnmaNi SrIman RajagOpala Bhattar

will lead the groups for KaaNDa PaarAyaNam of Vedam ;KodiyAlam Naithruva

MaaDabhUshi VaradarAja Bhattar , who is PoorNaadhikAri in BOTH

Yajur vedam and NaalAyira Dhivya prabhandham ( Four Thousand Sacred

Collect) will head the Dhivya prabhandham group.

SrIman U.Ve.RaajagOpaala Bhattar has performed grantha chathushtaya

KaalakshEpam under HH Vaikunta Vaasi SrImad Mukkur Azhagiya Singar

and is a graduate of MadhurAnthakam College in VyAkaraNa SirOnmaNi

studies.

SrIman U.Ve. VaradarAja Bhattar has performed adhyayanam

in Vedam and NaalAyira Dhivya prabhandham under the tutelage

of his father, KodiyAlam Naithruva MaadhabhUshi U.Ve. NrusimhAcchAr

Swamy , who resides now at Oppiliappan Sannidhi.

The timings of the PaarAyaNam are:

Wednesday: May 21 8.30 A.M --11.30 A.M concluding with

SaaRRumuRai (Separate GhOshtis for KaaNDa and

Dhivya Prabhandha PaarAyanam).

May 21 4.30 P.M--7.30 P.M continuation of

the MudalAyiram & Veda Vij~nApanam

Thursday , Friday ( May 22 and 23) : Continuation of

the two PaarAyanams in the Kramam manner

at the above time slots.

Saturday: The Final 100 Dhivya prabhandham at the end of

the Sudarsana Homam for the day concluding with

Periya (Grand) SaaRRumurai. Approximately 11 A.M.

SrI RanganAtha temple is the one and only temple in North

America to the best of my knowledge , which has these elaborate

traditional offerings of the Sanskrit and Tamil vedams as

a part of the major Uthsavams for the PerumAL.

The presence of these two PoorNAdhikAris at the temple this year

makes it a very special event following the traditions at major

Temples in India like SrIrangam, KaanchIpuram et al.

Please take the time off and join these ghOshtis and enjoy

the Memorial Day weekend and have the auspiciousness of

hearing the Veda manthrams and AzhwAr's Divine Sookthis

chanted in the traditional manner.

On May 24, there are additional celebrations for

the 500th Jayanthi for Saint AnnamAchArya, one of

the greatest devotees of Lord VenkatEsa and a primary

sishya Of SrI Adhi VaNN SaThakOpa Jeeyar, the founder of

SrI AhObila Matam on the Command of SrI Lakshmi Narasimhar

of AhObila KshEthram .
