" The Dhivya dEsam of ThiruvahIndhrapuram/ThiruvEndipuram/

Thiru Ayindhai is located near Cuddalore in South Arcot

district of Tamilnadu , India. The presiding deity is

Lord DevanAthan who is also known as Adiyavarkku Meyyan,

Achyuthan , MoovarAgiya Oruvan . His Divine Consort is revered

as BhArgavi, Tarangamukha Nandini and Vaikunthavalli.

 

The divya dEsam has been sanctified by the sacred poems of

Thirumangai Azhwaar , who sang ten glorious hymns about

the Lord of Thiru Ayindhai and the beauty of His dhivya

dEsam.

 

Right across Lord DevanAthA's temple , on a small hillock ,

is a shrine dedicated to Lord Hayagreeva , the Repository

and granter of all knowledge .

 

Thiruvendipuram is famous for another reason. It was here

that a pillar of Shri VisishtAdvaitha, Swamy VedAntha Desikan

spent more than four decades in the service of Lord DevanAthan

and lORD HayagrIvan , beoming in the proess a KavitArkika

Simham--lion among poets and logicians. The house where He

lived and the well He constructed with His own hands some

700 years ago are still here .Here, Swamy Desikan composed

many important SrI Sookthis in adoration of the matchless

beauty and infinite kalyANa guNams of Lord DevanAthan .

 

Another great Shri VaishNava AchArya, Shri MaNavALa Maamuni,

has also performed MangaLAsAsanam of Lord DevanAthan.

 

For all Shri VaishNavAs and their AchAryAs , ThiruvahIndhrapuram

ranks very high in the list of dhivya dEsams to worship SrIman

NaarAyaNa in the Archa form. If worship at ThiruvEnkatam confers

prosperity ,worship at Thiru EvvuL AarOgyam , worship of Daasa Sathyan

(The Lord who never fails His devotees) at Thiru Ayindhai grants

one Moksha Sukham .

 

A few devotees spread across the globe--U.S.A, India , Singapore,

Indonesia, Australia , Kuwait , Reunion , Mauritius and

New Zeeland--following SrI Bhagavath RaamAnuja SiddhAntham

have taken it upon themselves to perform a once-in-a-lifetime

kaimakryam of presenting to Uthsavar DevanAthan a RathnAngi

( Coat of armour encrusted with Rubies and other gems).

These devotees have raised sofar one third of the required

funds as seed capital . It is hoped that the rest of

the needed funds will be raised before too long to complete

the construction of the RathnAngi and present it to Uthsavar

Lord DevanAthan before the end of this year. The Crown ,

Ear lobes , Sankha and Chakra have already been made

and is bein worn periodically by Lord DevanAthan.

Our task is to complete the RathnAngi from neck down to

the hip , the two legs upto the shanks , the four arms

and especailly Abhayahastham. Individual BhakthAs

and their families are welcome to identify with

the samarpaNam of any one of the (above)individual limbs

of the Divine Body of Lord DevanAthan.

 

This is an ivitation to all Shri VaishNavAs to join in this

unique Kaimakryam to Lord DevanAthan adored by AchAryAs ,

AzhwArs and celestials/DevAs, Nithya Sooris like

AdhisEshan and Garudan from time immemorial.
