Guest guest Posted June 18, 2004 Report Share Posted June 18, 2004 On the 12th and 13th of June, 18 pontifical leaders of the Ramanuja Tradition, known officially as " Jeeyars', gathered in Hyderabad along with groups of scholars from all over India in a gathering known as Sarva Vai:shnvava Samgo:shti, A Gathering of All Vai:shnavas. This gathering was organized and conducted by His Holiness Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji in an effort to re-establish high standards for Vai:shnava Temple Practices, particulary at the Temple in Thirumala, where such practices are falling prey to the onslaught of commercial interests.
