Although I would like the Ramanuja Society list to remain open and unmoderated, I think that I should make the effort at this point to share with everyone - and particulary Smt. Gayathry - that this list is intended to primarily serve as a portal for learning about Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja and his magnanimous vision. It is also a private list, and as moderator, I make it my right and obligation to step in when necessary to temper discussions, presentations, or debates. While I cannot pass judgement on Sri Datta Swamy and his universal messages, since he does not seem to have even the slightest connection to Sri Ramanuja or his forebearers, I would sincerely request that these postings be discontinued from this point forward. I welcome Smt. Gayathry's continued contribution and participation, as long as the subject matter remains within the framework of Ramanuja, Alwars, Temples, etc. Thank you.
