Guest guest
Respected Ramanuja da:sas, In the vast history of the universal spiritual philosophy that has come to be known as Sri: Vai:shnavam, a few people stand along-side with Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja in their knowledge, devotion and commitment. One of these rare souls is Sri Pillai Lo:ka:cha:rya Swa:mi, who unfurled the teachings of the Ve:das and the mysticism of the A:lwa:rs as a path to living a good life as a humble servant to the Supreme Being. This month marked the 800th birthday of this great scholar's Holy Appearance Day, which was celebrated by followers of the Ramanuja tradition throughout the world. A synopsis of the events that took place at what is the most important temple to our faith, Srirangam, is summarized in today's Hindu: http://www.hindu.com/fr/2005/11/18/stories/2005111800060300.htm adiya:r:gal va:zha, aranganagar va:zha!
