We had a successful inaugural upanyAsam

last Saturday , when 190 sishyAs and abhimAnis

participated via the Telebridge.

 

The second upanyAsam is scheduled for 9 AM EST

( instead of 9.30 AM) on Saturday , July 22 .

Srimath Azhagiya Singar looks forward to

this next upanyAsam and will continue to

use the commentaries of Periya AcchAn PiLLai

and Sudarsana Soori . He will include excerpts

from Swamy Desikan's commentary , whenever

there are special points to cover .

 

The book that Srimath Azhagiya Singar is using

for the KalakshEpam is "Gadhya Thraya VyAkhyAnams"

assembled by VaishNava SrI K.SrinivAsa IyengAr

Swamy of Trichy . You can get a copy of this book from

Srirangam or from ParthasArathy Temple , Triplicane .

It costs 60 Rs. It will be useful for you to have the text of

the original commentaries on hand to follow Srimath

Azhagiya Singar .

 

I will try to summarize the UpanyAsam only for the sake of

helping those who could not participate .

 

I will try to send the scanned pages of the passages covered

( upto Page 5 out of the total of 127 pages).
