Guest guest
Dear all, In earlier mails, we have seen that " paLLi " stands for jagad rakshaNa chintanam or Lord's contemplation on devising various ways to redeem us. " ezhudhal " or waking up stands for His various actions like taking incarnations etc.. What is the result of His actions? To find an answer, I have referred to the meaning of " aLiyan enRaruLi unnadiyArku AtpadutthAy! " , this conveys the result of His act. Here azhwar is praying to Him to bless us to be servants to His devotees. That is the best blessing one can receive in the material world according to azhwars, and that is how thirumangai azhwar interpreted thirumantram - bhAgavata SEshatva paryantam bhagavat SEshatvam i.e. being serviceable to God to the extent of being serviceable to His devotees. adiyen ramanuja dasan Vishnu
