Guest guest
Dear Members, Excerpts from Swamiji's discourse: Once an aged person attended to a place where Bhagavtham discourse was going on... Powranikar (The person who is giving the discourse) was narrating the Leelas of Srikrishna of dasamas skandham to the audience. During the time, the powranikar noticed Krishna (in the form of small boy) disturbing the old man asking him to play with him. In spite of repeated disturbance from Krishna, that old man was sitting very calmly and was listening to the pravachanam casually. The Powranikar who unable to believe this and was very much shocked to notice Krishna playing with that old man. After finishing the discourse for the day the powranikar ran to the old man and prostrated on to his feet and said, " I saw Krishna playing with you and asked him Who are you? I guess you should be a Great Mahatma and how was this possible. What sort of Japa were you doing to have the grace of Sri.Krishna.like this? The Old man replied, " I am an ordinary person I have neither done Homa or Japa or did any sort of Dhyana. All these years I have been only rendering service to my " Guru SriVallabar " . My service was to get water from the well to the ashram. Because of my Guru’s Krupa only I think that SriKrishna is fond of me, and casually left to the ashram. There is no need to do any sort of hard Sadhana if a person can render unconditional service to the guru honestly. Let’s chant Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Regards ______________________________\ ____ Be a better Heartthrob.
