Baghavan Nama - Prepared food

Dear Members,

 

 

Once a person was interested to study our Puranas,

Sastras, Vedas and other scriptures and hence decided

to approach a Mahatma. Mahatma appreciated his motives

and welcomed him and with a smile the Mahatma

compassionately asked him whether you had your meals.

The person replied that he has not had his food and

agreed to have food first before starting of the

teachings.

 

The Mahan gave him 2 options in shown the ingredient

like raw rice, water, vegetables, stove, match box etc

to prepare him self or offered the prepared food

which he can have immediately. The person feeling

hungry decided to eat the food already prepared in the

ashram since he was feeling hungry.

 

The Mahatma said,

 

Understanding all “Puranas, Sastras, Vedas and other

scriptures " are like you preparing your own food

whereas “Baghavan Nama” is like the prepared food. He

further continued that the objective of all Puranas /

Shastras / homas which is been prescribed by Vedas is

”Dhayoo Narayana Satha " - Baghavan Nama only, so

whenever prepared food is in front of you, no need to

spend your time in cooking food;

 

Hence let’s all chant Baghavan Nama "
