The way to remember God in the hour of death is to practise, now, the repetition of His name and the chanting of His glories. If one keeps up this practice, then in the hour of death one will repeat the name of God. When the cat pounces upon the bird, the bird only squawks and does not say, 'Rama, Rama, Hare- Krishna'. Guest guest
Another important factor that needs to be addressed in Sri Ravishankar Gopal's interesting postings is that it is has been made clear that remembering the Lord's Name or Form at the time of the one's passing is not required, as the Lord Himself has will take upon this responsibility Himself. This concept is first put forth by the Lord Himself in His Varaha Avathara. adiyenOn 10/21/07, Ravishankar Gopal <ravishankar_g wrote: Dear Members, Source: The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna Practice now or it may be never " Man becomes pure by repeating the name of God.
