Dear friends and devotees, Bhakti is eternal. Share the wisdom of His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi shankarji. 23. ENEMIES In the company of your friend, you lose your centeredness. Your enemy puts you back in yourself. Your friend sympathizes with you and makes you believe in matter. Your enemy makes you feel helpless and takes you to the spirit. So your enemy is your friend and your friend is your enemy! Krishna said to Arjuna, “One who is unfriendly everywhere − including to himself − his consciousness is stable and his awareness is established.” 24. SKEPTICISM Ignorance is being a skeptic and not knowing that you are one. If you think you are a skeptic, you can no longer be one because you have a clue of something beyond. So, in reality, you can never know if you are a skeptic or not! A skeptic is struck in a paradigm, closing all other possibilities. But this creation is all possibilities. As one understands the paradigm shift, skepticism is removed. A real scientist can never afford to be a skeptic because that closes down possibilities and does not allow him to probe into unknown areas of existence. Skepticism is an “I know it all” attitude, and such an attitude is unscientific. Perception and inference are two means of knowing and skepticism is dispelled by knowledge. In every human being deep inside, there is faith and love. What you perceive as skepticism in someone is only a thin layer. If you hold in your mind that they are skeptics, you empower their skepticism. Do not acknowledge someone’s skepticism by arguing with them because arguments will only strengthen it. Fear of interference in one’s freedom brings more resistance and causes skepticism. There is nothing better than your silence and smile from your heart to dispel skepticism. Silence means the quality of consciousness, not just keeping your lips tight. Skepticism does not arise in children. It

comes only in people who walk within boundaries. Children live in their fantasy world, a world of many possibilities, a world of innocence, joy, beauty and so much love. Condtd. . . 25. With love and regards, Sastry.
