Dear Sri Narashiman,I cannot help but feel concerned about the intent of this posting. It seems to indicate that Sri Ramanuja would require us to adopt some path or criteria to be a Sri Vaishnava. I am rather surpised at this, because it would seem totally out of character for such a noble humanitarian to have. Knowing himself to the sEsham of the Supreme Being, I should think that EmperumAnAr's values would simply show in attitude and action his belief that we need not burden ourselveswith any other upAyam, since the Lord is the Sole Responsible Charge. If we need do anything, it is to pray that the Lord Himself give us an opportunity to be of benefit to others in our own small way; this too being at HIs Discretion.
