Recently adiyen had the bagyam of visiting 2nd time to Kadalmangalam village

one of the old agraharam existing near Uthiramerur. The Moolavar and utsavar

deity is Rukmini Sathyabhama sametha Sri Venugopala perumal. Vishwaksenar,

Nammalwar, Srimannathamunigal, Srimad Bhashyakarar, Swami Desikan and next

Swami desikan and there is one more acharyan also. Archaka swami does not

know about him. Adiyen very sorry to mention that no brahmin family is there

in the village except the archka swamin. The condition of archaka swamin is

in pathatic condition. He stays with his age old father and mother. Even

there is no house in the Sannidhi st except Archaka Swamin. His house is

constructed under a govt scheme. The entire street is filled with only

bushes and vacant land. Even there is no road, only white colour sand filled

lane (no grass and mud) is available for walking. The village has two ponds

one is with lilly flowers and the main one is with plenty of lotus flowers.

Adiyen came to know that Chengalpattu and Kunnwakkam bus is crossing this

village twice a day. This village had many srivaishnavas once upon a time.

Adiyen mother's mother was also from this village. The temple is covered by

green paddy field in two sides. Srimad Andavan's Ashramam is also existing

and a well maintained bajanai madam is also existing. This village is

existing 6 kms near Uthiramerur and we have to take the road opp to

Meenakshi ammal Arts and Science college existing between uthiramerur and

chengalpattu route. Last year adiyen had the bagyam of visiting the temple

for a tirumanjanam and second time now. Sri. Kumar family is eagerly doing

tirumanjanam etc in this temple. He is residing in Mylapore and heard that

his is one of the trustee in Sri Vedanta Desika Temple, Mylapore. Kindly
