Action Plan For Collecting a List of Vanamamalai Devotees.

adiyEn is in Chicago and here is adiyen's proposal on Collecting

(and encouraging Children & other family/friends of HH Vanamamalai

devotees to get Samashreyanam done from HH)

 

TEMPLE FLYERS:

Put Flyers in all temples in the US (adiyEn is almost done with the

Flyer) (Awaiting HH Vanamamali Swami's approval on the Flyer)

adiyEn will print 2000 copies.

 

US Folks: Please come forward to be the local Vanamamalai Center

coordinator. Indonesia & Singapore should have a few chapters there

as well. (adiyEn is hoping that devotees will come forward by

themselves, put the flyers in the temple every week, collect devotees

etc.)

Half page on the Mutt's activities (Focussing more on Service related)

Email address (vanamamalai ) and Ph# for those who do

not have email in the US.

Provide free Food to all at all times.

(This will be a great thing to re-start again in Certain

Indian Towns) In the US they call it Soup Kitchen

(And is very very popular Service to Humanity)

We need to collect Vanamamalai Sishyas and meet once a month in

various locations (Chant Vishnu Sahasranama etc..., create an

atmosphere where existing Devotees can meet regularly and bring in new

devotees as well.)

 

His Holiness will be availbale on e-mail (in 2 weeks) and will be

writing & Guiding us in this list.

 

DOLOTSAVAM

This is very popular in every area, adiyEn would request HH to advice

us on if we could do Dolotsavams in every region as well.

This will bring in new devotees to the Vanamamalai Mutt.

And keep the current devottes active and focussed.

 

MOST IMPORTANTLY: We need to stand up as role models (That others

can look upto and want to be a part of our group.)

Anywhere we go for Religious activity: Go with 12 Thirumans & Thulasi

Malai (Perform TriKala Sandhya)

Chant Nicely (Acharyan should be proud of our behaviours)

Always be pleasant. This attracts the newer audiences/Younger gen.

 

 

Please those of us who can devote 5 hours or more per week for this

noble cause, please reply: Tasks to be taken up:

1. Marketing (Website (vanamamalai.com exisits but is very static)

2. Posters, Photos to be distibuted all over (Donation accepted)

3. Get memebers in the list. (For Various area)

Area, Mukund - Chicago, Krishnan - Denver (Please reply if you can

serve with your Time)

If you can, Please get volunteers for Houston, FLorida, Indiana,

Iowa, Dallas)

 

At least in the areas mentioned in 3: we should be able to collect

and hold activities once a month.

 

adiyEn has been using the Name: VEDICS to cover all under the roof,

but we also need to make a strong presence for Vanamamalai overseas.

 

adiyEn is working on a VEDIC tech center project to be put

Vanamamalai Mutts in India

(will send details once HH approves the plan) Free education/ Email

facilities. Once Kids get free COmputer training there, they will

come and volunteer their time to server others/teach others

this will potentially get a lot of people into the MUTT.
