AchArya hridhayam -160

" maNNoar viNNoar vaippil, pOginra yEzhulagukku vuyir pAsam vaitha nigaril

vAtsalyam ujwalam " .

After koil The gunam in thirumalai is being sought to be explained.

" kaNNAvAn enrum maNNoar viNNoarkku'-thiruvoizhmozhi 1-8-3; enrum, 'thaN aruvi

vEnkadamE vanOrkkum maNNOrkum vaippu " -nAnmugan thiruvandhAdhi-45 enrum

sollugirapadiyE, i.e. as mentioned in the above pAsurams, the thirumalai is like

the saved funds for souls of both the worlds. " pOginra kAlangal, pOgu kAlangal,

pOghu kAlangal , thAi thandhai vuyir AginrAi=thiruvoizhmozhi 2-6-10'enrum ;

'kaNNAi yEzhulagukkum vuyirAiya eN kAr vaNNanai " -thirumozhi 1-9-=10, at all

times and for all souls, as all relations,being the life for all is the qulity

of antharyAmithvam,

pAsam vaitha nigaril vAtsalyam " en kaN pAsam vaitha paramchudar jothi "

-thiruvoizhmozhi 3-3-4 and " nigaril pughazhAi' thiruvoizhmozhi 6.10.10 having

poured affections on an ordinary soul like me and possessed with unmatchable

quality namely vAtsalyam is sparkling.

Thirumalai being the sought after dhivya dhEsam for both the worlds, and the

lord being at all times and at all places for all the souls as all relations

being their life, which is the fundamental characteristic of

antharyAmithvam,possesses the unmatchable quality of vAtsalyam, whcih sparkles

in thirumalai dhivya dhEsam.

 

Why does thirumalai gets listed here prior to thirumAlirunjOlai pAsuram which is

in thiruvoizhmozhi 2-10 where as thirumalai is actually in later tens i.e 3.3

and 6.10 of thiru voizh mozhi? that is because , gunangal perrtaining to

parathvam,vyOham, antharyAmithvam vhibhavam are explained first. Then other

qualities are taken up.Hence, thirumAlirunjolai which is 2-10-10 of

thiruvoizhmozhi " kilar oli ilamai " is combined with " senjorkavigAl " which is in

tenth ten of thiru voizhmozhi.

therefore thirumalai is taken up prior to azhagar koil.
