pAsuram= nangaL varivaLai AyangalO-thiru 8-2

Quality: sEeshtidha Acharyam;

 

 

Text: " sAdhararai parisu azhikkum sEshthidha Acharyam kuLathE kodividum "

Summary: The Lord s quality to remove the shyness- nANam which is the

characteristic of a woman - for those who are affectionatley attached towards

him, is being highlighted in this dhivya dhEsam.

Those devotees who are immensely attached towards him are also covered by the

veil of shyness which is the innate characteristic of a woman. This shyness is

removed by the Lord and this act is described here as sEshtidha Acharyam.

 

Which pAsuram refers the fact that AzhwAr is immensely attached to him?

" Azhi valavanai Adharithu ,koodach chenrEan " thiruvoizhmozhi-8-2-4 refers to the

deep affection.

Which pAsuram refers to the fact that shyness is destroyed?

" palvaLaiyAr mun parisazhindhEan " 8-2-4 refers to this occurence.

Why is the exprssion mAyakOthan used?

" mAdak kodi madhiL then kulandhai vaNgudapAl ninra mAyakOthan " is the pAsuram

which refers to the thirunAmam of the emberumAn in this dhivya dhEsam. Hence,

this term is mentioned here to refer his thirunAmam.

Why is the word kodi vidum used?

kodi vidum is used to connote the fact that this qualityis highlighted. These

words are also taken from the aformentioned pAsuram.
