dhivya dhEsam= thiru vaN parisAram;

pasuram= angum ingum =8-3 of thiru voizh mozhi

quality= soukumaruyam;

Text: " srama manam sOzhum soukumArya prakAsam, AiychEriyilE "

Summary: The mind of AzhwAr sympathises with Lord s state of tiredness after He

descends into this world , where his value is not fully understood, and with his

tender physical form ( kOmalamAna thirumEni) assuages the distress of this

people.

AzhwAr thinks of the How the tender thirumEni carries the heavy load of Chakram

and Chanku. " Oh! Lord, your tender physical form gets tired after doing lot of

deeds for the sake of your devotees' is the state of AzhwAr s mind. This

quality of displaying the soukumAryam =tender physique = komalamAna thirumEni=

is being spelt in this dhivye dhEsam.

What is srama manam sOzhum soukumAryam?

The mind of the AzhwAr in thinking the effect on the tender physique of

emberumAn s deeds for the sake of devotees.

This is inferred from the pAsuram " adiyAr allal thavirtha asaivO anreal

ippadithAn nEndu thAviya asaivo, paniyAyE " meaning

" Are you physically tired due to the deeds undertaken to remove the distress of

devotees or because of meauring the World with your feet? Please tell me?.

What is Aiy chEri ?How it refers to thiru vaN parisAram- now popularly known as

thirupadhisAram?

Aiy is for mother indicating mother s place. AzhwAr s mother s native place is

thiruvaN parisAram and this is referred here.
