First Term of dvayam

'srEman '

1. The term 'srE' refers to periya pirAtti.

2. Her role of mediatrix makes the Lord to be indifferent towards the mistakes

of the souls and make Him to accept the souls.

3 The term 'man " refers to permanent togetherness with the Lord.'madhupp AleA'

4. In dvayam, srE is the first term in the first vAkyam and also the first term

in second vAkyam. The Lord has two roles. One as upAyam- means and one as the

goal-upEyam. Similarly, periya pirAttiyAr has two roles, one has the role of

mediatrix and works towards the Lord to accept the sinful souls. The other role

is kainkaryam to the Lord alongwith the pirAtti-in sErthi. This role is referred

as' srEmathE' in the first term of the second vAkyam of the dvayam.

5. She will be always with the Lord, as the Lord is swathanthran- Supremely

independent- and as an effect, precisely judges the souls' mistakes and acts

accordingly. Hence, periya pirAtti is always together to assuage the

independence and make the Lord to overlook their mistakes and bless them.

 

The above are the salient features of the first term of dvyam i.e 'srEman'.
