Guest guest
sAra sangraham The next pAsuram representing the fifth padham " prapathyE " is " ARenakku, nin pAdhamE charaNAgath thandhoyindhAi, vunakkOr kaimARu nAn vonRilEan, enadhAviyum, vunadhE " thiru voi mozhi 5-7-10. ARu is way i.e means; charaN is end; Lord You have given me your thiruvadi as means and end. This is as per piLLAn's viewpoint. Here, the intention of the term ' charaN' is taken as that of 'charanya:' ARu is way i.e means to attain You. charaN is also means to attain You. Here, the intention of the term 'charaN' is taken as that of 'charaNam' That is, the means to attain You, Lord dheivanAyaganE is your thiruvadi, is the intention here. This is as per bhattar's viewpoint. It may be observed from the abovementioned statements that here the rejection of other means is the primary intention of AzhwAr -which is the premise of this thiru voi mozhi- expressing Akinchanyam- having nothing to submit to the Lord- and the total conviction unto Him, is thus reflected here -i.e- prapathyE. vAnamAmalai padmanabhan
