Dear Bhagavatas,

 

 

 

In the previous series we all enjoyed the life history and greatness of our

revered acharya, the first peedAdhipathi of our Vanamamalai mutt, Sri rAmAnuja

Jeeyer swamy, the direct, prime and very close disciple of Sri Periya Jeeyer,

Ettuperukkar, ramyajAmAtru muni, yateendra pravanar Sri manavala mAmunigal. Sri

rAmAnuja jeeyer swamy was with great love called as Ponnadikkal Jeeyer by

mAmunigal himself as he was the root cause for the whole vanamamalai lineage of

great acharyas and shisyas, which follows even today.

 

 

 

In this series we all will enjoy the greatness and kainkaryams of the great

madhAdhipathis who followed ponnadikkAl swamy one by one. This writeup will be

based on the book “Gaganagiri muni guruparamparA prabhAvam” released by

vanamamalai mutt under the guidance of 27th pattam Srimath paramahasa

parivrAjakAchArya Sri chinna rAmAnuja swamy verified by panditharatnam

thirukkannapuram Sri SrinivAsAchAryar.

 

 

 

From the next posting we will start from the Second peedAdhipathi, Sri kalamoor

varadamuni, who was appointed to take charge of all temple and mutt kainkaryams

by Sri PonnadikkAl swamy himself. Hope this kainkaryam will be successfully

completed due to the divine grace of Sri Parthasarathi emperuman and due to the

divine blessings of asmadacharya (30th pattam Sri kaliyan rAmanuja Jeeyer swamy)

and with the support of all the bhagavatas.
