HH Sri Vanamamalai Varada rAmAnuja Jeeyer (Second pattam-kalamoor varadamuni)

 

Vanamamalai varada rAmAnuja jeeyer swamy built a very beautiful extended

thirumandapam facing north to south in the entrance of the Vanamamalai perumal

sannadhi and also did renovations to Vanamamalai temple vimAnam. Swamy then

involved himself in spreading the darshanam (rAmAnuja siddhAntham) to one and

all in a way that will impress Periya swamy and remained doing kalashepams with

the number of shisyas increasing day by day. Swamy reflected the sadAchAram of

the ancestors in each one of his acts.

 

As the days passed, Vanamamalai varada ramanuja jeeyer developed an interest to

go and stay in thirunArAyanapuram. Thereby he selected one among his shisyas

filled with jnanam and vairAkhyam, appointed him to follow the peedam, named him

sendalankAra rAmAnuja jeeyer and crowned him to the kingdom of darshana nirvAham

and started his journey towards thirunArAyanapuram.

 

In thirunArayanapuram, swamy made a beautiful golden crown (thiruvabhishEkam) to

the perumal and always remained in the thoughts of the divine feet of Vishnu and

the divine feet of EmperumAnAr (udaiyavar). Swamy always spent his time in

doing kalashepams to number of interested shisyas and thereby remained in

spreading the ramanuja sampradayam for 19 years.
