The ninth pathu of thiruvoimozhi consists of verses explaining nithya kainkaryam

of the dhvyap padham " Aya "

 

1. " pandai nALALE nin thiruvaruLum pangayathAL thiruvaruLUm koNdu nin koil

sEithu... " thiru voi mozhi 9-2-1

 

Here the Service at the temple premises is mentioned indicating the serivice

(kainkaryam) to the Lord in dhivya dhEsam-s. Those who have the blessings of the

Lord will be cleansing their premises whereas those who are blessed by the Lord

with pirAtti's purushakAram are blessed to do service at the Lord's premises

which is tered by AzhwAr as " nin koil sEithu.. "

 

2. " kudikkidandhu Akkanj seidhu nin thErtha adimai kuRREval seidhu " thiru voi

mozhi 9-2-2

 

To do kainkaryam to the Lord. These are intimate kainkaryam-s which will make

the soul indifferent towards any other desires. These intimate kainkaraym is

termed here as " kuRREval " .

 

3. " kidandha nAL kidandhAi, ethanai kAlam kidathi, vun thiru vudambu

asaiya,thodarndhu kuRREval seidhu, tholladiamai vazhi varum thondarORku

aruLi... " thiru voi mozhi 9-2-3

 

To do apt and apposite services unto the Lord by endearing to the intimate

kainkaryam. To request the Lord to accept the appropriate kainkaryam from time

to time is indicated here.
