Swamy’s kainkaryams

 

Swamy undertook a divya dEsa Yathra starting with Srirangam, doing

mangalAsAsanams to Periya perumal and appreciated by the scholars over there

swamy then proceeded to thirumalai. After doing mangalAsasanams to other divya

desams on the way Swamy then did mangalAsAsanams to appan in thiruvEnkatam.

Then swamy proceeded towards north to srikoormam. Then swamy proceeded to rAmA

theertham where swamy was honoured by a great jnani, venkatAcharyar. Coming to

know about the arrival of swamy, the king of the place jayarAman visited swamy

along with huge wealth, lot of divya Abharanams (costly jem studded jewels),

silk and high quality clothes and prostrated swamy. Swamy due to his grace

accepted all that was submitted by the king with great love and blessed the

king.

 

Then swamy continued his journey towards north and visited vadhari, sAlagramam,

vaikundam, dvarai, ayOdhyi and did mangalAsAsanams to the various emperumAns.

Then swamy proceeded towards jagannAtha kshetram and stayed there with fame

under the name thOthAdri rAmAnuja swamy. During the time of swamy’s stay in

jagannAtha kshetram he blessed many with divine arthas and showered the vedAntha

arthas to many interested Srivaishnavas. Meanwhile suddenly remembering

Vanamamalai deivanAyaka perumal and Srivaramangai nAchiyar swamy started his

journey back home. On the way again swamy visited thiruvEnkatamudaiyAn and then

further proceeded to do mangalAsAsanams to udaiyavar, Sri Parthasarathi

emperuman, Periya perumal, pullAni emperumAN in the order and finally reached

vanamAmalai.

 

In vAnamAmalai swamy renovated the jadibhandhanams already in a very bad shape

and then did a grand samprokshanam in front of a great crowd of srivaishnavas

from various places. Then swamy honoured all the scholars who have come to

attend the mahAsamprokshanam and was highly praised by all over there. Then

swamy submitted elephants, horses, various beautiful jewellery and silk clothes

to deivanAyaka perumal. In this way swamy remained in the peedam with number of

shisyas, always doing sath kalashepams according to the teachings and practices

of the poorvAcharyas for 10 years and established the rAmAnuja darshanam.
