Then swamy stayed two or three days in Srirangam and then after getting the permission from Periya perumal started his journey towards east and did mangalasasanams to all the divya desams in chola desam. Receiving the respective honours in the various divya desams, swamy proceeded towards north and finally reached thiruvallikeni. Swamy did mangalasasanams to “parthan than thEr mun nindran” (the lord who stood in front of the chariot of arjuna otherwise called parthan) geethAcharyan, Sri Parthasarathi emperuman. There swamy was greatly honoured by Srivaishnavas and others. While swamy stayed in thiruvallikeni, a wealthy person prostrated swamy and was highly attracted by swamy’s charm and swamy’s speaking talent and with great regard for swamy submitted an elephant for adorning swamy’s ghosti. Swamy also gracefully accepted the same. Meanwhile, Srivaishnavas in Sriperumbudur came to know about swamy’s stay in thiruvallikeni and rushed to swamy’s sannadhi to invite him to grace the divine occasion of thirupradhistOtsavam of swamy EmperumAnAr. Swamy was very happy to be able to obtain such a kainkaryam to serve emperumAnar, the jagadAcharya who established our vishistAdvaita sampradayam and made the world realize parathvam and hence attain the divine feet of emperuman, and with joy reached sri bhoothapuri. Swamy did mangalasasanams to EmperumAnAr and wanting to do the jadibhandhana pradhistai of perumbudur mAmunivan without any flaws in manthra or thantra, arranged for scholars well versed in Sanskrit and dravida vedas to recite the vedas respectively and invited great srivaishnavas to do ithihasa purana, sribhashya, bhaghavat vishaya and rahasya grantha pArAyanam (reciting). Not stopping with flawless vaidhika proceedings swamy also arranged for filling the stomach of all with variety of prasadams. Swamy honoured all the scholars and srivaishnavas who recited the vedas and did ithihasa purana, sribhashya and bhagavat vishaya pArAyanam with grand vastrams (clothes) and sambhavai (money). Swamy submitted a beautiful hamsa vAhanam to the jagadAcharyan Sri udaiyavar. In this way swamy celebrated the thiruprathistOtsavam of Swamy udaiyavar in a very grand manner. Happy with the celebrations arranged by swamy some srivaishnavas who have come from the north requested swamy to undergo a vadadEsa yAthra and grace the people in the north. Swamy also accepted the invitation and decided to go to vadamadurai, sAlagramam, thuvarai and ayodhya and do mangalasasanams and thereby first reached thirumalai.
