In chola desam, swamy first did mangalasasanams to kaliyan in thirunagari and then proceeded to the various divya desams that have obtained the divine mangalasasanams of thirumangai azhvar. Swamy finally reached nandhi pura vinnagaram, had the divine darshan of nAdhan and stayed there for some days. Then swamy visited senbhagAranyam and did mangalasasanams to raja mannar. The adiyars over there honoured swamy with due respect and swamy graced them all. After getting the honours from mannar, swamy left from there to pullani. There he had the darshan of Adi jagannatha and Sri rama on the darpa sayanam and then he proceeded to thirunagari. There he bathed in the sacrad thAmrabharani and did his daily rituals. Then swamy did mangalasasanams to azhvar and polindhu nindra pirAn. Then swamy proceeded to Vanamamalai via ramanujapudur while varamangai nAchiyar and deivanAyaka perumal like parents who are happy with the arrival of their son who has been outside for long welcomed swamy by sending their vanamAlai, kalaindha peedhagavAdai, abhaya hastham and prasadam through bhagavatas in their service. The bhagavatas as per the order of the divine couples got the prasadams of perumal and piratti on a golden plate with great honours in a procession, amidst the sound of divine instruments and proceeded to honour swamy. Swamy realizing this to be the grace of deivanayaka perumal, prostrated the procession and stood with folded hands honouring perumal’s prasadam and the adiyars in an orderly fashion, submitted the thirumalai, thiruparivattam and abhaya hastham to swamy. After accepting the same with great pleasure swamy boarded a beautiful ivory palanquin and came around the divine streets and proceeded towards the mutt. After prostrating aranganagarappan, swamy proceeded to the mandapam, called azhagiya varadan where the divine padhukas of the Acharyas where placed prostrated the acharyas and then seated himself on a koormAsanam placed over there. Then swamy did surul sAththupadi viniyOgam (this is done as a sign of completion of an yathra by the yethi) to the srivaishnavas gathered over there. Then his shisyas came along with the jewels and other valuable things submitted by various people during his yathra placed in golden plates. Swamy along with the same proceeded to deivanAyakan sannadhi for mangalAsAsanam. There swamy submitted all that was collected to the divine feet of perumal and piratti and had the divine darshan of the divine couples and did heartfilled mangalasasanams to them and stayed there in the divine state when perumal blessed him with arulapAdu followed by theertham, thirupparivattam, thirumalai, srisatakOpan abhayahastham and prasadam. Highly pleased swamy returned back to the mutt and as before stayed in the nithya kainkaryam of aranganagarppan and did dhadheeyArAdhanam and kalashepams.
