Celebrations have started in our vanamamalai mutts in India. In thiruvallikeni, daily upanyasams of various scholars in various topics have been arranged and is going on well. Let us all think about the great acharya, direct disciple of mAmunigal and one who sacrificed all his lowkika bandhams and took up sanyasa just for the sake of getting nithya acharya kainkaryam and recite his thaniyans and vazhithirunamams thereby trying to attain atleast .001% of his acharya bhakthi which will lead us all to the doorsteps of the divine abode of emperuman. May be this is late...but will it be possible for us to get together and pool our resources to present a cheque to the Matam/Acharya as a token of our Abhimanam as well as our respect. For one who has sacrificed all of his lowkika bandhams to be in the service of the Lord and Mamunigal as well as to guide us, this would be one of the ways of conveying our gratitude as well as respect.
