" pARkadluL paiya thuyinRa paraman " to praise his " Bhogyatvam " . AndAl after having sung the para vasudevan residing in Vaikuntam, praises the second form " vyUham - ksheerabthi nAthan " , who is reclining in the milky ocean. AndAl says praising the nAmA " pARkadluL paiya thuyinRa paraman adi pAdi neyyuNOm, pAluuNOm " confers all bhogyams on us, if we sing this nAmA. Hence, we don't need to consume consume ghee, milk etc. This nAmA confers all bhogyams. Swami Nammazhwar confers " unnum sorum, parugum neerum, thinnum vettilayum, ellam Kannan " . For azhwar, praising the gunam, leelas and nAmA itself is bhogyam. Lord Krishna laments in Bhagavad Gita " vasudEva sarvam iti, sa mahAtma durlabaha " - Arjuna, today I cannot find a great soul, who considers vAsudEva as everything. Nammazhwar was born a few days after Lord Krishna left to his eternal abode. Our poorvAchAryas used to mention this as " paviyEn pallilE pattu teripadEn " . If Lord Krishna would have waited for some more time, he would have found that soul swamy nammazhwAr. Swami Periazhwar sings in his tirumozhi - " unnA nAL pasiyAvathu onRillai, OvAthE namO nArAyanA enRu nanna nAL, anRu enakku pattini nALE " . If I don't take food for a day, I am not hungry. If I don't utter a day, the nAmA of nArAyanA, that day only I am hungry. The next nAmAs 8 & 9 in pasuram 3 - " Ongi ulagaLanthavan " and " uthaman " to be seen at same time to understand his " vAtsalyam " . namO nArAyaNA G.
