On the way to Sirivaramangalanagar, swamy had the darshan of the kalamegam on top of the vadamAmalai and then the darshan of swamy emberumanar, the punyan who took birth in Sriperumbudur. Then swamy visited all the divya desas in chola nadu including the headquarters of Srivaishnavas Srirangam and had darshan of arangaththu mAmani and then further proceeded to fulfill the deep expectations of the disciples in Sirivaramangalnagar, like the people in draught hit area waiting for the clouds to pour down as rain and reached Vanamamalai. There swamy submitted all the jems and wealth submitted by the ardent disciples all through his journey to the divine feet of the perumal and thayar and did mangalasasanams with great pleasure to the divine couples and then stayed doing ubhayavedantha kalasepams along with sathvika srivaishnavas for some days. Then krishnasreshti visited swamy from bhakyapuram along with his family and got swamy’s blessings and submitted lot of wealth and jems to the divine feet of swamy and returned back to his place. Further, pattarpiran swamy wished to do vadadesa yathra once again before he left for the divine abode of emperuman (thirunadu). At that time the king of vanapparuththi send a message to swamy stating that, for the welfare of the country and for his own athmic upliftment he has built a new temple for ranganatha and that he wants to consecrate the perumal in reclining posture over there and hence requests swamy to do the pradhistai in the appropriate manner and grace the occasion and that he will bare all the cost for swamy’s journey from Vanamamalai back and forth. Swamy was highly pleased as his wish and the request matched each other and hence ordered his disciples to make the necessary arrangements for the journey. Swamy along with number of srivaishnavas, first reached azhvar thirunagari and had the darshan of azhvar and the nava thirupathi emperumans and then reached srivilliputtur and had the divine darshan of andal and rangamannar then proceeded to maliruncholi to do mangalasasanams to sundararajan then proceeded to srirangam. Then on the way swamy had the darshan of the other divya desams and proceeded to maduramangalam, had the darshan of embar and then emperumanar in sriperumbudur. Further swamy had the darshan of thirupathi venkatachalapathi and then reached vanaparuththi. There swamy visited the newly constructed temple and named the area as ‘Srirangapuram’ and in a grand manner celebrated the pradhistai and made arrangements for the nithyOtsavam (daily festival) and mAsOtsavam (monthly festival) in the temple. Swamy stayed there for some more days and then visited bhakyapuram as per the request of the disciples over there. While swamy stayed in seetharamapuram making discourses for the benefit of the disciples over there swamy fell ill and his health started to deteriorate. At that time, swamy started to think about the next successor to the peedam. Swamy’s grace fell on Sri kaliyan ramanuja swamy who was a great satvika filled with divine qualities, vairakyam and knowledge, who had already accepted the sanyasa ashrama and who was along with swamy on the journey. Swamy called for Sri Kaliyan swamy and appointed him to succeed him as the next Vanamamalai jeeyer. In this way HH Sri Pattarbiran swamy stayed in the peedam for 10 years and did great kainkaryams that cannot be pre-conceived by our small minds. Swamy then decided to leave for nithya kainkaryam and hence left to the divine abode of emperuman from seetharamapuram itself. All the Srivaishnavas over there were struck by huge grief to have got separated from swamy. Slowly they consoled themselves and then tried to console Sri Kaliyan swamy who was dissolved in deep sorrow due to the separation from his acharya. Sri Kaliyan swamy then did the appropriate charama kainkaryams (last rites) to his acharya in the appropriate manner and grandly celebrated the thiruadhyayanam. After completing the rites Sri Kaliyan swamy returned back to Vanamamalai.
