Swamy's kainkaryams

 

 

 

As per the practices of the earlier acharyas, swamy did all the final rites to

his acharya HH Sri Chinna satakOpa Jeeyer swamy in the appropriate manner in a

very grand way and successfully completed the thiruadyayana utsavam. Then swamy

visited deivanAyakan and Srivaramangai nAchiyar did mangalasasanams and was

handed over all the kainkaryams that was undertaken by the previous acharyas of

the mutt. Accepting the orders of the divine couples swamy then returned back

to the mutt and did mangalasasanams to aranganagarappan.

 

 

 

Swamy had a special talent of delivering upanyasams based on ubhaya vedantha

according to the intellectual nature of the collected audience. Everyone was

astonished by the way swamy delivered bhagavat vishaya kalashepam along with

padArththa vAkyArtha svApadesa anyApadhEsa in a simple easy and lucid manner.

During the time swamy was in the peedam he showed a special interest in

bhagavata dhadheeyArAdhanam. Swamy arranged for special treating of the

bhagavatas and used to feel pleased to see and hear them feeling satisfied with

the treatment. All the nine years swamy was in the peedam there was not even a

single year of draught. There was rain in the proper season (mAdam mum mAri

peidhadhu). The divine tank in vanamamalai, SEttruthAmarai was always full and

the sound of the waves hitting the temple walls was always heard. Elders used

to say that they have never experienced such excessive water flow earlier in

their lifetime.

 

 

 

Further, swamy continued with the kainkaryams as per the long wishes of his

acharya Sri Chinna satakOpa ramanuja swamy, completed the wooden carving works

and plating works and continued with the partially stopped gOratha kainkaryam.

Swamy ordered for gold plating and completed the ratham glittering like

mErusigaram and happily made Sri varamangai manAlan adorn the ratham and enjoyed

the divine darshan along with the other devotees and fulfilled his acharya's

wishes.
