Intorduction to The Tenth Ten

The Lord who is capable of rescuing one and all from crisis

takes the requisite forms and the form and the divine physique- thiru-mEani-

does not have anything equal or over and above in splendour- appears and

rescues

one and all.

 

The devotees who feel the pangs of separation get appeased from this Lord

who satisfies their

thirst like a pond- Arthi-harathvam

 

In the ninth ten the Lord assured AzhwAr, who was suffering the pangs of

separation and eagerly awaiting for the Lord Almighty, that He will

grant AzhwAr the final end at the end of this physical life. Accordingly,

AzhwAr is prepard for the final path/route -archirAdhi- towards parama-padham.

 

The Lord who is intimate to AzhwAr, and AzhwAr takes the Lord as friend and

guide in this path-vazhith- thuNai.

 

This gave confidence and conviction to AzhwAr -at this juncture- that the

final stage has at last arrived and this is definite and certain.

 

Having determined so, AzhwAr now reveals certian important aspects--First,

AzhwAr prescribes the do-s and dont-s to his mind.
