There swamy bathed in the sacred waters where emperuman stays in the form of water (jalaroopi) and then visited bharatapur. Gracefully accepting the respectful honours of the king over there, swamy blessed many with samAsrayanam and thereby uplifted many poor souls. Swamy's journey then continued towards Brindavanam ( " bhagavatA subhEna manasA dyAthamAna " ). Swamy had the divine darshan of andal and rangamannAr. Swamy was adorned with kannan kazhalinai after he did mangalasAsanams to the divine couples. With a very happy mind swamy visited the yamunai turai where Krishna and the gopis did a number of leelas and enjoyed themselves and made everyone cherish the same. Then swamy visited the birthplace of Krishna, Sri Mathura followed by Sri Gokulam that witnessed the growth of emperuman. Then swamy visited " kundredutta Govardhanam " each place getting to memory the bala leelas of Sri Krishna or rather swamy enjoyed the places as if the leela has just occurred in front of him. [Can non-living things talk? Oh! Yes. Here the mountain talks krishna's leelas, the yamunai river talks about his jala kreeda and each and every stone talks the greatness of emperuman and his leelas. Even if a third grade soul like adiyen who haven't yet visited those places just by typing their names experience the joy of witnessing the bhagavat leelas what to say about a great mahan like swamy who was originally in the place where the emperuman choose as a stage to nicely enact his leelas?] Then swamy visited " baladevan vendra pAdivadam " * followed by " vunnum pOdhil nedunOkku kollum bhakthavilOchanam " *. Swamy was filled with anubhavams on visiting all the above places his eyes filled with tears " ahlAda seedhanEtrAmbhu: " In the state of paramabhakthi swamy came round the divya stalams feeling bad for not being able to join in the divya leelas of Krishna paramatma during his avatara along with the blessed gopis. Then swamy left from there with heavy heart but with deep interest to have the darshan of " verikol vaNdu paNgal pAdu " thiruvadari. On the way swamy visited haridwar, Rishikesh, kandamennum kadinagaram, piridi along with taking sacred bath in the divine rivers alaganandA, bhAgeerathi, nandhaprayAgai throughout the way. Finally swamy reached vadari, worshipped even by the devas on the banks of the divine gangus. After having the divine darshan of nara-nArAyana moorthi swamy couldn't stop his enthusiasm to talk about the divine thiruvastAkshara manthra delivered by emperuman himself posing himself to be both the acharya and shisya. Swamy delivered upanyasam on the meaning of the divine ashtAkshari for the benefit of all the ignorant devotees. Just the rahasyArtha lecture was not enough for swamy nor did the emperuman over there get satisfied with the same and hence swamy started to treat the emperuman with the divine anubhavam filled paasurams of kaliyan. The nithyasooris treat paramapadanAthan with sAmagAnam but even that looses its charm when emperuman enjoys the divine paasurams of our azhvars that too from the mouth of great acharyas like our swamy. Though swamy wanted to spend some more time in that divine place filled with purity for the sake of all the waiting devotees swamy had to return back without much delay. The journey proceeded through Ram Nagar. In-between swamy bathed in the kowsiki river and finally reached naimisAranyam. *Adiyen has opted to use the adjectives in tamil before the name of places as they are azhvar mangalasasana verses. All the divya stalams achieve their greatness only after being sung by our dear azhvars. So adiyen feels that the charm of the place is never complete without these adjectives in front. No equivalent English word can really be found to substitute the divine verses of azhvars ( " na bhoothO na bhavishyathi " ) (To be continued) Alwar EmperumAnAr Jeeyar thiruvadigalE sharaNam Adiyen Ramanuja dAsee, Sumithra Varadarajan
