BRIEF OF DHVYAM-MADHAVAN

 

" eN-perukkil ennum thiru-nAmathin sabthArthangaLaich surukki, mAdhavan enRu

dhvayamAkki... "

 

AzhwAr prescribed " eN-perukku an-nalathu, voN poruL, ERu ila vaN pugazh nAraNan,

thiN kazhal sEREA " in the first ten of thiruvoimozhi 1-2-10;

 

The same advice is agian given in the tenth ten as " nannum manam-vudiayEr,

thiNNam nAraNamEA " 10-5-1 and

 

" nAraNan emmAn " in 10-5-2;

 

Further, the dvayam which has to srEmath-s one in the first sentence and second

in the second sentence, reprsenting the togetherness with thAyAr, is concisely

put forth as

" mAdhavan enRu vOdha vallErEAl " 10-5-7, which also happens to be an expansion of

thiru-mandhiram.
