The smile which is utlimate shoud have no equal. It is said that " irakkamEa upAyam and sirippEa upEyam " Lord's mercy is the means and Lord's happiness is the aim. Sri kulasEkara AzhwAr expressed this view in the pAsuram " chediyAya..valvinaigaL,, " " padiyAik kidandhu vun pavaLa vAi kANbEanEa " The pavaLa vAi of the Lord is looked upon. The smile is eagerly awaited from His divine lips. The emanating smile reflects is happiness. Sri PeriyavAchan piLLai's vyAkyAnam " pArathanthriyathukku, achEthana samAdhiyum vEANum, adhu purushArthamAgaikkuk kANavum vEaNum " While achieivng the end -i.e.at the upEyam stage, one should be like achEthanam.
