With water of course and manthram-s. How did sri parasurAma performed this? With blood. With blood! sri parasurAmA vanquished the kings and satisfied the ancestors with their blood. He performed tharpaNam with the blood. This can be inferred from the following pAsuram " thevvAya maRa mannar kurudhi kOndu, thriuk-kulathil, iRandhOrkku thiruthi seidhu..
