Guest guest
Sri Parthasarathi thunai Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha Srimad Vara Vara MunayE namaha Sri Vanachala mahA munayE namaha Emperuman took avatara as Krishna to do “dushta nigraham and sistaparipAlanam” thereby making bhoomi a better place to live in. In gokulam, Krishna did a number of leelas. Among them the leelas of Krishna with the gopis, (“pancha laksham kudi pengal” say our acharyas) viz., rasa leela, kudakooththu etc widely attract the rasikas/Krishna bhakthas. Bhoomi piratti saw all these leelas and was awed by the bhakyam of the gopis and gopans who joined hands with kutti kannan in all his bala leelas. Nappinai piratti, avatara of neelA devi had the great bhakyam of becoming the consort of Krishna at gokulam. In order to marry nappinai piratti, Krishna showed his bravery by subduing 7 mighty bulls at the same time. This act of Krishna for the sake of nappinnai piratti has been talked by azhvars at length in many of their paasurams. Then in dwaraka, Krishna married 16,108 devis all of whom are considered to be avataras of Sridevi nachiyar. Wanting to do all services to the lord at a time Sridevi nAchiyar took various forms and did all the kainkaryams. Won’t bhoomi devi nAchiyar envy the other two pirattis, Sridevi and neela dEvi enjoying the bhOgyam of doing kainkaryams to emperuman in an avatara taken especially for removing the miseries of bhoomi? Just removing misery is only – “Yogam” Then what is “kshEmam”? Attaining the nithya kainkaryam under the divine feet of emperuman is the only ultimate kshEmam. So bhoomi piratti took an exclusive avatara to attain the divine feet of emperuman. Let us see about that great avatara of bhoomi piratti in the next posting.
