Guest guest
Sri Parthasarathi thunai Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha Srimad Vara Vara MunayE namaha Sri Vanachala mahA munayE namaha In the kali yuga, bhoomi piratti took avatara as godha devi, daughter of Sri vishnuchittar, periazhvar. Bhoomi piratti took avatara under a tulasi plant in the garden of Sri Vishnuchittar at Srivilliputtur. Sri Parthasarathi emperuman, delivered the bhagavat geetha to arjuna amidst the warfield and explained the upAya svaroopam to the world. Sri BharatAzhvan showed the upEya svaroopam. Sri Andal nAchiyar without much difficulty explained both these in simple words in her thiruppAvai. She started her prabhandam with “nArAyananE namakkE parai tharuvAn” and ended with “vunakkE nAm AtseivOm maRRainam kAmangal mARRU” Sri Krishna in his vibhavAvatara tried to uplift the jeevatmas with his great words, the bhagavat geetha but failed to do the same since even arjuna couldn’t remember the same after sometime. So he was forced to take another archAvatara as thiruvEnkatamudaiyan to establish the same arthas through abhinayams (dance posture). We see today that multimedia presentations and visual graphics spread message more easily than just theoretical writings. The same was done by thiruvEnkatamudaiyan. He landed to thirumalai, a place common to both the nithya sooris and mannulagavAsis (people of this world) and showed his feet with his right hand (“mAm Ekam charanam vraja”). Again we people liked his beauty and taking all sorts of boons from him but didn’t understand the inner meaning of his posture. Then emperuman thought “Oh! During the bharata yuddha when arjuna wanted to see the vishvaroopa darisanam I first gave him the divya chakshus (divine eyes) and then only was he able to rightly see me. Similarly I have to do something to these mandha jeevatmas to realize the importance of my posture” What did emperuman do? He decided to come even down only for the sake of these mandha jeevatmas who feel lazy even to climb the seven hills. He came to brindAranya kshetram (brindavanam of archa Krishna) as Krishna. Since he came down by venkatam he is called venkata Krishnan. Here he did two extra things. First he gave darshan with just 2 hands indicating that he was so easily accessible since he also has only 2 hands like all of us. Then he held a conch in his right hand. For what? Blowing it like in bharata yuddha? No since no duriyOdhana or party is going to come to his sannadhi now. This sanghu is to give jnanam to innocent people like druva. Druva was a 7-year kid he did great penance to see the lord. Emperuman came in front of him due to acharya krupai (Narada was druva’s acharya). But the kid didn’t even know to do stotra to the lord. So emperuman touched the cheek of the child with his sankam and gave him the divya jnanam. We are all kids in front of the lord like druva who don’t even know to say a single stotra. If we like druva pray, “Oh! Lord adiyen is so small (innocent/jnana heenan) that adiyen doesn’t even know to sing a stotra in front of you” emperuman will touch us with the sankam with love and immediately show his other hand that instructs us to fall to his feet. If we fall to his feet then the adisesha under emperuman’s feet will show us that our ultimate goal is only kainkaryam. So emperuman from thiruvenkatam landed in thiruvallikeni as Venkatakrishnan showing both his jnana poorthi and beauty as a warrior (paratva, sowlabhyangal). Will bhoomi piratti who cried in her nAchiyar thirumozhi to put her under the divine feet of thiruvenkatamudaiyan “Venkatavarkkennai vidhikkiRReyE” and did a great mArghazhi nOmbu (“vil peru vizhavu”) to attain krishnAnubhavam miss the opportunity to enjoy Venkatakrishnan? No, that is why she also took a archAvataram and landed here as the consort of Parthasarathi emperuman. The divine truth is that in the vibhavAvatara, Krishna gave importance to Sridevi and neeladevi nAchiyars as seen earlier but now in archai thirukkalyAnam of Parthasarathi is only with godha devi (Bhoomi piratti). Another important aspect in thiruvallikeni is that unlike thirumalai rukmani piratti gives darshan right at the side of the moolavar here. So we get the purushakAram of piratti always. So in this temple we can straightly go to parthasarthi sannadhi without any hesitation. Since adiyen is enjoying the divine darshan of Sri rukmani sametha Sri Venkatakrishnan and Sri Andal sametha Sri Parthasarathi emperuman daily that too in a place named brindAranyan (brindAvanam) where even today we are able to visualize a number of cows enjoying with Krishna adiyen added this archAvatara anubhavam in this series. Though our concentration from here on will be only on the vibhavAvatara godhA piratti (pattarbiran kOdhai) who gave the two divine prabhandams ThiruppAvai and Nachiyar thirumozhi both to establish two important aspects of Srivaishnava siddhAntham.
