A person who writes well is not able to talk well and vice-versa. A person who is expert in tamil works and rahasya-granthangaL does not possess expertise in sanskrit and vEdhic works; EVen if he so possesses, it is limited to recital of some upanishads; If he is good in wriiting again it is limited to wriitng some articles in tamil. If he is expert in giving lectures it is largely restricted to tamil lectures. Over and about this writing books? Editing? Temple and sannidhi construction?Consecration? Making others understand in simple language the abstruse meanings ? Anybody to pore over the written books and comprehend? What are the aformentioned combinations? Is it a null set? Is it a rare one? Or are we talking about swAmy nam-piLLai/ pUrvAchAryAs? No.We are talking of none other than Sri mahA vidwAn upaya-vEdhAntha prathivAthi bayankaram AnnangrAchAryAr swAmy-kAnchi swAmy. He is an expert in aruLich cheyal mUlam; A pioneer in simplifying aruLichcheyal vyAkyanam-s-dhivyArtha-dhEpikai; An editor a writer- an upanyAsakar - in more than one language- an expert in sanksrit and vEdhic works- An encyclopaedia personified in our field. I cannot resist quoting the vyAkyAnam of sri periyavAchan piLLai for the term "andhaNan oruvan' muRpada dhvayathaik-kEAttu, idhihAsa purAnangaLaiyum adhigaraithu, para-paksha predishEshathukku vudalAga nyAya-mEmAmsaiyai adhigarithu, pOdhu pOkkum aruLich cheyalAm padi piLLaiyai-p-pOlEa-adhigarikka vallavanaiyiREA "oruthan" enbadhu.
