Sri Parthasarathi thunaiSrimathe ramanujaya NamahaSrimad Vara Vara munayE NamahaSri vAnAchala mahA munayE NamahaPaasuram-42"sendru vananguminO sEnuyar vENkataththai

nindru vinaikedukkum neermaiyAl-enDrumkadikamala nAnmuganum kaNmoondraththAnumadikamalam ittu Eththum angu"What all of us want is ishtaprApthi (attain the necessary) and anishta nivarthi (get all the unwanted removed)? Will thiruvEnkata yathra give us these? Azhvar answers, it is not even necessary that you should climb the mountain and have the darshan of emperuman, just go near thirumalai and prostrate the divine mountain and ishtaprApthi and anishta nivarthi will occur on its own.

(sendru vananguminO sENuyar vEnkataththai) Go and prostrate the divine thirumalai that is great both in size and fame. "senni Ongu thAn thiruvEnkatam" The mountain is so big that we are able to visualize the high peaks just as we start our divine yathra. The peaks appear to be engulfing the sky.

As per 'madhyamani niyAyam' the word "nindru" can be attached to either the front or back and meaning can be obtained.(nindru vananguminO) Stand and have the darshan without any tension.(nindru vinaikedukkum neermaiyAl) "vEnkatam" itself means that which removes all our sins. The divine mountain removes all our sins in a very easy calm manner. So we need not worry about anishta nivarthi;

What about ishta prApthi:- Even the brahma rudras who you think to be generous in granting your requirements have obtained their positions only by prostrating thiruvenkatamudaiyan.(endrum) not at one time; for ever

(kadikamala nANmuganum) brahma who was born from a divine lotus with sweet fragrance; the lotus has a sweet smell since it was born from that divine lord who is adorned as "sarvagandha:"(kanmoondraththAnum) that siva who has three eyes as if to show the greatness of his knowledge and power

(adikamala mittEththu mangu) these two worship the lord in thirumalai with various flowers and attain their positions. So there is no necessary for us to worry about our ishta prApthi also.(To Be Continued)
