His poetic prowess is excellent and here is one sample. The final pAsuram of the ninth thirumzohi of the sixth ten "thiN-kaLaga madhiL pudai sUzh thirunaRaiyUr ninRAnai, vaN-kaLaga nilaveRikkum vayal mangai nagarALan, paN-kaLagam payinRA sEr pAdal ivai pathum vallAr, viN-kaLagathimayavrAi vERRirundhu vAzhvArEA" thiN------] vaN------] paN ------]- kaLagam viN----------[- The first kaLagam refers to the limestone wall of thirunaRaiyUr. The second refers to either the hamsam or the paddy crops kaLam+agam reflected by the moonlight. The third kaLagam refers to the thirumzohi set on the music paNgaL +agam The fourth kaLagam is referring to the altars of the parama-padham -viNgaL+agam. What a geat edhugai and mOnai.
