Guest guest
Dear All, Pranams! It has been a while since aDiyEn wrote last time. With the Grace of Acharyan, aDiyEn has started to attempt for another series. This again, similar to the previous postings is out of what aDiyEn has heard from scholars. Pushpa kaimkaryam is one of the most cherished kaimkaryam in our sampradAyam. There are lots of places where our Azhwar and Acharya Goshti have mentioned about this kaimkaryam. There were also Azhwars and Acharyas, who have done this kaimkaryam through out their life. Gajendran, the king of elephants is a glowing example in our sampradayam. There was also a great bhakta called Kurumbarutha Nambi, who performed this kaimkaryam in Pushpa Mandapam (ThirVengadam). aDiyEn would like to conclude the first posting in this series with a beautiful pasuram sung by Nammazhwar (ThiruvAymozhi 1.4.9). Let us enjoy some references out of our Azhwars and AchArya Goshti in the follwong postings. naadaatha malar naadi naaldhORum naaranandhanvaadaatha malaradikkeezh vaikkavE vakukkinRuveedaadi veeRRiruththal vinaiyaRRa thenseyvathO?oodaadu panivaadaay! uraiththeeraay enathudalE. aDiyEn, ramanan Start your day with - make it your home page
