Guest guest
Grand thirunakshatra celebration of Sri PonnadikkAl Jeeyer swamy Sri Parthasarathi thunai Srimathe ramanujaya Namaha Srimad Vara Vara munayE Namaha Sri vAnAchala mahA munayE Namaha http://www.pbase.com/svami/kannipunarvasu The varshika mahotsavam, kanni punarvasu thirunakshatra celebration of Sri onnana swamy in vanamamalai mutt, thiruvallikeni went on in a very grand manner as usual this year also. The ten day celebration happened with upanyasams by various ubhaya vedanta vidwans on various topics and daily thiruvaimozhi ghosti, sevai and sattrumarai. On the thirunakshatra day (27th sept 2005), the auspicious presence of our Sri swamy who returned from hyderabad after chaturmasyam two days earlier, was a great bhakyam for all the shisyas present in the occassion. Though swamy's mind circled around vanamamalai (his daughter[srivaramangai] and son-in-law [deivanayakan] visit the mutt on this auspicious day) still swamy enjoyed the celebrations along with the disciples and abhimanis. Thiruvaimozhi sattrumarai ghosti was grand followed by theertha viniyogam and grand dhadheeyArAdhanam. After the theertha viniyogam swamy with his sweet musical voice lead the namavali ghosti. What else to say "ahobhakyam! ahobhakhyam!" to have been present in that place. Adiyen's enthusiasm to describe the occassion is enormous but the struggle to find the appropriate words is greater. So adiyen stops here saying it was a great krupai of Sri swamy to have stayed in thiruvallikeni during this great day and to have blessed all the disciples. Our sincere thanks to all the organisers who did a great job in making this Special celebration a grand success. A request to all vanamamalai mutt shisyas and abhimanis is that please dont miss these celebrations atleast in the future. It is a rare opportunity to show our small gratefulness to the great help rendered to us by our revered acharyas.
