'avanudaiya rakshagathva kramam parithrANathilEA sonnOam' While prescirbing the do-s and dont-s of the disciple and reverence to AchAryA this paricular sUthram is given. The Lord's protection methods described in prapanna parithrANam. What is mentioned there: Unlike the relatives, bandhukkaL or other deities, the Lord takes upon Himself all the protection. He took upon Himself the role of messenger for pANdAvAs.He charioted for the sake of His devotees. He received the arrows on Himself for their sake. He protected them from death and also retrieved souls from death. Thus, He sees one from all the difficulties and also always bent upon there welfare, and even bending Himself for their sake.
