பறà¯à®±à®¿à®±à¯à®±à¯†à®²à¯à®²à®¾à®®à¯ பறà¯à®±à®¿ அவனையà¯à®®à¯ பறà¯à®±à¯à®•à¯ˆ பகà¯à®¤à®¿; விடà¯à®µà®¤à¯†à®²à¯à®²à®¾à®®à¯ விடà¯à®Ÿà¯ தனà¯à®©à®©à®¯à¯à®®à¯ விடà¯à®•à¯ˆ பà¯à®°à®ªà®¤à¯à®¤à®¿;

 

Various upayas to attain the ultimate result has been specified in the sastras. Bhakthi is holding on to karma, jnana yogas as parts of bhakthi to attain the ultimate result and also holding on to emperuman as the means to give the end result (upAyAntharam).

Leaving all other means (upayas) and also not believing in prapaththi being the means (svagathasveekaram-jeevatma holding on to the divine feet of emperuman). He alone is the means and the ultimate result (upayam and upEyam).
