Guest guest
puNNiyam yAm vudaiyOAm If the effects of good and bad deeds result in puNNiyam and pAvam and after exhausiton lead to rebirth, what is the real 'puNNiyam'? He is the real puNNiyam. Neither karma yOgam, nor gnAna yOgam or bakthi yOgam can give this great result. On being questioned by Sri krshNA, the gOpikas reply 'We do not have any of these, but we have the unparallel puNNiyam" which will elevate us. 'visumbEARa vaikkum endhai' as kaliyan says in the thirumozhi 2-1-4; Sri ANDAL and gOpikAs cleverly argue that they possess sri KrshNA the personification of all good deeds ' puNNiyam yAm vuDaiyOam' in the 28th pAsuram of ThiruppAVai. The Lord being the epitome of this is also voiced by Sri Nam AzvAr 'aRavanai ..' in TiruvAimozhi 1-7-1; and by Thirumangai AzvAr 'aRam thAnAi thirivAi' in third pAsuram of the sixth ten of Thirumozhi. What about the past and current sins ? How to nullify them. This is also made possible by the Lord's Divine grace 'ankaN iraNdum koNdu engaL mEal nOkkudhiyEal, engaL mEal sApam izhindhEaloAr empAvAi' ThiruppAvai 22; There are precedences says svAmi Azhagia ManavALap perumAL nAyanAr in his AchArya Hrdhayam 95 Sabari, vidhurar and HrishipathnE are some of the souls who had this Grace. 'sramanE, vidhurar, hrishi pathnikkaLai bhUdharAkkina puNdarEkAksha nEdunOkku sabam izhindh ennap paNNumiREA' dASan vanamamalai padmanabhan
