(TVM 6.5.9) Parankusanayaki’s friend describes the state of the nayaki to her mother. Parakusanayaki keeps crying loudly everyday by reciting the name of the Lord in Thulaivillimangalam. Hearing her loud cry, even the non-sentient beings sympathize with her. The verymoment she hears the name Thulaivillimangalam, she stands facing the direction of the Divya Desam and prostrates. irangi naaLdhoRum vaayve ree_i Completely submerged in thoughts on Thulaivillimanagalam, she cannot stop crying thinking about the Perumal. kaNNa neergaL alamaraShe cannot stop the tears from her eyes even when she keeps reciting the Perumal’s thirunamammaranga LumiraNG guva gai`maNivaNNa vO!'enRu koovumaalHearing her scream, even the non-sentient being such as tree also starts crying out of sympathy for her. Her voice is heard in all the directions. thurangam vaaypiLanN thaanu Raitholaivilli mangala menRuShe reminds herself about Perumal’s valour when He killed a demon, Kesi and protected his bhaktas. Hence, she was convinced that the same Perumal who resides in Thulaivillimangalam will also protect her. karangaL kooppith thozhumThe very moment she recites the name Thulaivillimangalam, her hands directly go over her head and get folded. avvoorth thirunaamaNG kaRRadhaR pinnaiyEThe friend completes the description by scolding the mother community, and squarely blames them for the current state of Parakusanayaki. “Had you not taken her to that Divya Desam, and not taught her the name of that Divya Desam and also the Prabhavam of the Perumal residing there, she would not have been in this state of distress.” Parankusanayaki’s friend refers to Thulaivillimangalam as “that town” instead of the actual name – the reason being it is sweet to hear the name Thulaivillimangalam only when Parankusanayaki says that. Now that, we have seen various states of Parankusanayaki and Parakalanayaki described by either their respective mother/mother community or their friend, let us end the series with two more postings where we will see how they themselves describe their state of distress. Quite coincidentally and in fact reflecting the true SriVaishnavatvam both these nayikas don’t want to let the opportunity of describing their state when falling in love with this particular Divya Desa Perumal. (P.S. This Divya Desam is very special, and this Perumal Himself is one among the SriVaishnavite community. The vaibhavam of this Perumal and the Divya Desam is endless in all respects) adiyen, ramanan
